Ira Moskowitz is the Director of Advanced Manufacturing Programs at the Mass Tech Collaborative.
Prior to this position, Ira spent 30 years managing semiconductor technology development and manufacturing, including operations in the US, Europe, and Southeast Asia. Having earned BS and MS degrees in electrical engineering at the University of Rochester and MIT, respectively, Ira first worked at AT&T Bell Labs, where he was named a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff, the highest technical designation at Bell Labs. While at Bell Labs, he also earned an M.B.A. in Finance and International Business from NYU. Following Bell Labs, Ira joined Analog Devices, Inc., where he progressed through a series of manufacturing positions, including Production Manager, Quality Manager, and Director of Wafer Fab Operations. Ira’s most recent position at Analog was Vice President and General Manager, US Operations, responsible for the company’s domestic manufacturing operations and the technology development that supported it. In this capacity, he led the production of world-class analog, optical, mixed-signal, and MEMs devices, specializing in automotive safety and health care products requiring perfect quality, reliability, and on-time delivery.
