Conference Call
Thursday, March 19, 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm

Dear MBI Stakeholder,

Today, the Massachusetts Broadband Institute (MBI) is announcing the following:

The MBI will hold a conference call on Thursday, March 19th, from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm to discuss how broadband provisions in the landmark American Recovery and Reinvestment Act specifically relate to Massachusetts.  This conference call will serve as an important opportunity for stakeholders and interested parties to participate in a direct dialogue with the MBI to further inform the development of federal stimulus funding the Commonwealth is likely to receive.

The call will be a facilitated discussion in which MBI board members Stan McGee and Sharon Gillett will give a presentation (viewable on the MBI website on March 18th). Participants will be asked to hold their questions until after the presentation and do so as quickly and succinctly as possible.  Similarly, Assistant Secretary McGee and Commissioner Gillett will strive to answer succinctly so as to afford the largest possible number of questions.

We look forward to your participation on this conference call and ask that you RSVP no later than noon on Wednesday, March 18th, by replying to this email address.  Those who RSVP by the 18th will receive the necessary call-in information.

For more information, please contact: Maritza Doyle, Administrative Coordinator, MBI, at 508-870-0312, ext. 1645, or at doyle@masstech.org.

Sincerely,

The Massachusetts Broadband Institute
