The Western Region Homeland Security Council invites you to join us for the Cybersecurity Preparedness Conference being held on Wednesday, December 5th at UMass Amherst.
This conference is ideal for municipalities and agencies seeking practical and understandable guidance to make computer and network system more resilient to cyber-attack.
MassCyberCenter Director, Stephanie Helm, will be a panelist in both a morning and afternoon session presenting on Massachusetts cybersecurity resources. Other subject matter experts from The Commonwealth Fusion Center, the Executive Office of Technology Services and Security, Massachusetts State Police Cyber Crimes, Department of Homeland Security and more will also share: information to demystify cybersecurity; practical critical security controls that can be readily applied to any system; steps to take if you experience a cyber-attack/threat; and cybersecurity efforts being undertaken at the local, state and federal levels.
Presentation will be accessible to those both unfamiliar and familiar with information technology.
The conference is free. A continental breakfast and full lunch will be provided. Registration is required.
