Description: Three staff members developed six modular units to be used in freshman integrated science, physics, chemistry, and environmental science. Each unit includes a bibliography of resources, an outline of content, and suggested activities. The suggested activities are designed to put students in the roles of active learners as they analyze data, conduct investigations, and gather information. Students are guided through an exploration process that is designed to have them arrive at their own conclusions about the advantages and disadvantages of renewable energy resources after having completed assignments and activities.
