Driving a Strong Cybersecurity Economy through Talent, Leadership, and Ecosystem

Massachusetts is a national leader with global impact developing and deploying cybersecurity technologies and systems. By working together, public and private sector leaders in the Commonwealth can close gaps and drive solutions that make our state’s economy stronger and more resilient to global cyber threats.

Announced by Governor Charlie Baker at the first-ever Mass Cybersecurity Forum in September 2017, the Mass Cyber Center is the state’s entity for supporting growth and innovation within the Commonwealth’s cybersecurity community. The Mass Cyber Center will drive collaborations that increase and broaden our cybersecurity talent pool, build ecosystem connections among products, researchers, and customers, and promote and enhance our leadership status.

As an initiative of the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative, the Mass Cyber Center will apply proven MassTech methods to foster innovation and growth by strengthening the connective tissue among cybersecurity ecosystem participants, enhancing growth of the business sector, and accelerating the development of a talented workforce in Massachusetts.
