Summer Content Institutes
The Massachusetts Department of Education’s Content Institute Program focuses on increasing the number of teachers who have strong competency in the subject areas that they teach. During the summers of 2003, 2004, and 2005 the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative (MTC) funded Renewable Energy Content Institutes as part of this program. Over 240 teachers attended these institutes.
Massachusetts teachers participated for free in the renewable energy and climate change institutes and receive at least $200 for educational materials. They can also received Professional Development Points (PDPs).
MTC will not be sponsoring renewable energy Summer Content Institutes this year. Please check back for future summmers.
