METAA CTO CLINIC - PRE-CONFERENCE
Meg Speranza from the MassCyberCenter will participate in a panel at the METAA CTO Clinic 'Pre-Conference on Cybersecurity' on March 9th.
METAA's mission is to "unite Massachusetts PK-12 Educational Technology Administrators – public, private, independent, charter, parochial – into one professional association for the purpose of advocating for and supporting the vision, policies, practices, and funding for historical, current, and cutting edge technology within all aspects of teaching, learning, and professional productivity."
The panel, "Strengthening your Cybersecurity Program through Cyber Incident Response Planning," will also feature Sergeant Edward Keefe of the Mass. State Police and Mass. Fusion Center and Susan Noyes, Acting Director at the Office of Municipal and School Technology (OMST) at the Commonwealth's Executive Office of Technology Services and Security (EOTSS).
Developing and testing a Cyber Incident Response Plan is arguably the most important thing we can do as technology professionals. Learn who should be involved in its creation and implementation of an Incident Response Plan, as well as key components of a strong Plan. Hear directly from law enforcement when to report incidents and how to preserve potential evidence and key information to assist in investigations.
