Topic: Generating timely and actionable insights from the patient community

Description: In a patient-inclusive approach to drug development and commercialization, we endeavor to gather feedback, insights, and perspectives throughout the product life cycle.  Standing patient and caregiver councils are critical in connecting biotech and pharmaceutical companies to timely and actionable feedback.  During this session, we will discuss the theory and practice of establishing, recruiting, and meeting moderation for effective patient councils.  We will also delve into best practices for developing summaries that deliver concrete actions to cross-functional partners and report to council members to share how their feedback will be utilized.

MassBio's Patient Advocacy Roundtable is an invite-only meeting for those in patient advocacy roles at MassBio life science member companies to come together, share best practices, learn from outside experts, and network. The meetings are held three times a year.
